NETEP - European Brazilian- Network on Energy Planning

The project is coordinated by Universidade do Minho. Other partners are Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Cranfield University and Fundação Coordenação de Projetos Pesquisas e Estudos Tecnológicos, Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro – COPPETEC. The general aim of this exchange program is to create the basis for interdisciplinary research and knowledge transfer on energy planning.

SEPP - Sustainable electricity power planning

The main objective of this research project is to develop sustainable electricity planning models to support decision making on future electricity generation strategies. The research focuses on the integration of the three dimensions of the sustainability: economic, environmental and social, looking for valid technical solutions that ensure the sustainability of the electricity system.
